What Is A High School Service Learning Trip?

With a focus on local culture and history, MEDLIFE’s international service trips for high school students offer the unique opportunity to travel abroad and assist low-income communities. They combine three days of volunteering on Mobile Clinics and Development Projects while also taking an educational deep dive into the historical factors that have shaped present realities. With visits to important historical sites, a variety of cultural activities, and a selection of Roundtable Discussions, this trip will give participants a global perspective.

To help your organization travel with zero stress, we offer extensive support throughout the entire trip-planning process. This includes arranging group flight bookings on your behalf and managing all the logistical aspects of your trip, from airport transfers and accommodation to meals and optional touristic activities.

I think that being involved with MEDLIFE has given me so many amazing opportunities that I wouldn’t otherwise have had as a pre-health student. It has definitely confirmed my passion for medicine.

I really enjoyed connecting with different patients and the global health aspect of MEDLIFE as well. It has made me also potentially consider a path in global health.

If you’re thinking that you want to go just do it! It’s easy to get caught in book work, textbooks and you’ll not get the same experience as you will just reading about the things that you can do than actually going out and doing them. Go out!

What they have experienced this week has changed their perspective on life. The growth and empathy that I have seen in these kids is absolutely heartwarming.
